Art Lab: Mixed Media
Designed for students ready to explore deeper ideas through art, Art Lab: Mixed Media invites tweens and teens to experiment with mixed media materials, techniques, and concepts while developing a strong personal style.
Students will work with a wide range of materials including drawing and painting media, fabric art materials, wax, collage, assemblage, texture-building techniques, and non-traditional materials. Projects focus on combining mediums thoughtfully to enhance meaning, visual impact, and conceptual depth.
This class places emphasis on both technique and self-expression. Rather than following step-by-step instructions, students are encouraged to develop their own ideas, explore themes, and make intentional artistic choices.
Weekly Art Class
Classes meet once a week with time for experimentation, exploration,
and the creation of meaningful mixed media projects.
When: Wednesdays, 6:00–7:30 PM
Dates:
Session 1: Feb 18 - Mar 25
Session 2: April 1 - May 13
No class during Spring Break (April 6–10)
Enrollment Options:
Students may enroll for the full 12 weeks or choose the first or second 6-week session.
All sessions are unique with no repeat projects.
Students are also welcome to join at any time, pending availability. Please email us if you are interested in a different start date or have special scheduling needs.

COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS AND PROTOCOLS
All kids and parents are encouraged to wear a mask at art classes.
With ever-changing safety standards regarding COVID-19, we will be implementing the most up to date safety protocols, and will update those enrolled if any changes occur

ART CLASS POLICIES
We are a drop-off studio for all kids 4+. Parents may accompany child or wait in adjourning waiting room, if desired.
LOW STAFF:STUDENT RATIO Each child is supported & challenged as we strive to maintain a ratio of 1:8.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Payment is due at the beginning of each month.
Let us know at the beginning of the month about any dates that child will be absent and we will work with you with options.
Make-up classes are offered if you give two-day advance notice of non-attentance.
MAKEUP CLASSES ARE NOT AVAILABLE FOR NO SHOWS.*
*Exception in the case of sickness. If your child is sick, please DO NOT come to class. You will be offered a makeup time for any classes missed because of sickness.
