IF YOUR CHILD LOVES ANIMATION, THIS CLASS IS FOR YOU!
In this fun class, tweens and teens will learn the basic of both 2D animation and stop-motion animation. We are going to be looking at hand-drawn techniques to animate drawings, learning to convert the drawing into GIFs, as well as learning how to use stop-motion techniques.
In addition, young animators will collaborte to make a short stop-motion film together. Kids will learn the basics of how to write a story, create storyboards, make background scenes and characters, and edit it together. They will have use of professional cameras, lights, mics, and computers with proper editing software.
This class keeps young minds engaged & inspired, while encouraging creative development.
Class is taught by Julie, who holds a degree in filmmaking and has worked on over 8 feature films and countless short films.
12-week series. You can pay for the full 12 weeks or you may pay in two-payments. To get the full experience, it is strongly encouraged to plan for the full 12 weeks so kids are able to learn and complete all of their animations. Please message if you have other scheduling requests.

ART CLASS POLICIES
We are a drop-off studio for all kids 4+. Parents may accompany child or wait in adjourning waiting room, if desired.
LOW STAFF:STUDENT RATIO Each child is supported & challenged as we strive to maintain a ratio of 1:8.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Payment is due at the beginning of each month.
Let us know at the beginning of the month about any dates that child will be absent and we will work with you with options.
Make-up classes are offered if you give two-day advance notice of non-attentance.
MAKEUP CLASSES ARE NOT AVAILABLE FOR NO SHOWS.*
*Exception in the case of sickness. If your child is sick, please DO NOT come to class. You will be offered a makeup time for any classes missed because of sickness.
